Hey there!
First, thank you for checking out Anthro — I’m sure you’ll find what you need here. And if not, let me know what you’d like to see 👌🏽
Second, a little info on who I am… A curious professional with the best part of 12 years total experience in the world of brands, communications and content strategy.
I spent a little time “in house” at Dishoom in London back when they launched it (I learnt SO much from the clever people over there!), working at fashion house, Bodice Studio, in New Delhi, blogging regularly at London Fashion Week, and working in comms in the European Parliament in Brussels. Although these were a long time ago now, each experience taught me a LOT about brands and how they communicate.
Then I went and got my degree in Social Anthropology from the LSE. After that I was fortunate enough to work at some of the world’s biggest and renowned agencies, from WPP’s Hill + Knowlton Strategies, to Edelman and Omnicom’s Hall & Partners. Here, my clients ranged from the likes of Campari and Heineken, to Huawei, Unilever, Teva and HSBC to name a few.
Like many, during the global Covid19 pandemic, I was furloughed from a job and team I absolutely adored! As sad as that was, I was happy to use the time to provide some pro bono consultancy to some start ups. This is where my idea for Anthro came about. One thing led to another and next thing… I’m working on briefs for high growth start-ups and agencies alike.
It’s my delight to share with you some techniques and approaches I’ve learnt and refined over the years — so I’ve created these downloadable resources and a weekly community newsletter for you to use for your own professional needs, whether you’re a founder, work at a start-up or at an agency.
If you take one thing away from Anthro, let it be this: Put humans at the centre of your business and communications. Caring about people, their needs and how they feel will help your brand truly resonate.
And as a close second: Remember, your brand is more than your logo. It’s your business’ character, it’s how you make people feel.
In my down time, you’ll find me looking after my health — a lot of exercise, teaching yoga, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with close friends and family.
I’d love to hear from you, so feel free to get in contact if you have any thoughts or questions for me.
Kindest, Sanya 😊
